Protector

His name is Keeper and he’s a metamorph, an alien being with the ability to change his body into any shape he wishes . He is also a  bodyguard for other beings on earth similar to himself. Two of the beings Keeper has sworn to protect have been killed, gunned down by violent gangs, and now this alien ,who’s real body is so hideously frightening it can drive humans insane, is on a death hunt. He’s taken on the identity and physical characteristics of a homicide detective who’s just died of a heart attack, and  he’s after the gangs and drug lord responsible for the deaths of his friends. Trouble is Keeper is new to the world, has no idea what homicide detectives do. Trouble is the dead detective’s female partner has no idea her real partner is dead and an alien has taken his place. Trouble is the drug lord Keeper will eventually encounter is so wealth and powerful that he lives in a fortress-like skyscraper and is surround by a literal army of gangs and mercenary bodyguards. The Seattle police force will never be the same. The city of Seattle will take years to recover. And heaven help the gangs and drug lord responsible for the deaths of his friends. .....
